Comprising a Woman's Warm Coral Heart and a Man's Resolute Lapis Lazuli Heart, both pierced by the twin arrows of the little God of Love, Cupid, each arrowhead set with 5 Diamonds in Platinum. The yellow Gold reverse stamped with the Eagles Head and Alsatians Head, being the French marks for 18k Gold and Platinum and the atelier mark is on the reverse of the Lapis Heart.

This slender looking Brooch can be worn either vertically in which it resembles a casually tied scarf, or horizontally as an interesting design. Made using many Diamonds and 19 fancy cut Emeralds, the frame is in tested unmarked Platinum and is the most graceful jewel on my site.

Pave set with Diamonds and calibre cut Black Onyx in an all Platinum mount with a Platinum security chain. The design represents a Horseshoe Nail, a very lucky symbol in France and other parts of Europe as is the Horseshoe itself. The maker,Jean Despres, also made jewellery for Cartier and this Jabot Pin looks to be of their high standard.
Stamped at the head of the pin is an Alsations Head mark which is the French Governments guarantee for Platinum and the makers mark JD.

There are a further sixteen Diamonds mounted in the legs and this spider is a very well modeled and a naturalistic representation and makes good use of the brilliant grass green Demantiod Garnets which are amongst the world's rarest gemstones.
